Arthos R .... The True Champion (breeding family 900)
The stunning champion of the KWPN Stallion Inspection, 2008, Arthos R has fully lived up to the high expectations. After a sublime performance at the Stallion Performance Test, he was registered with the stud having scored an incredible 84 points.
During the stallion selection in 2012, Arthos R first son, Ealba R was selected for the performance test. At the beginning of 2013, this stallion placed 5th during the VSN Championship.
The extent to which the jumping talent of Arthos R is genetically anchored is apparent from his rating of a very high 153 in the Jumping Index. His genetic profile also rates highly with a (111) for confirmation and (115) for loose jumping.
During CSI Twente 2009, Arthos R was declared the Champion. In the Vion Cup, he declared his talent by winning Reserve Champion in the 4 year old Showjumping class.
Arthos R took part in the 4 year old Championships in Lanaken after finishing 5th in the final of the final of the Vion Cup for 6 year olds in Ermelo. This made him the highest qualified Breeding Stallion in his age category.
In 2012, Wim Schroder took over the reins from Tom Brinkman. With Wim, Arthos R began his International Career competing at Enschede, Veendam and Drachten with good results.
At the 2013 Stallion Selection, Arthos R achieved a brilliant 2nd place in the VHO trophy (1.40m) after two very convincing clear rounds.
From the direct line of Arthos R, we have International Showjumpers Troubleshooter (Corland x Ladalco), La Belle de Jour (Libero H x Joost), Gadermie (Joost x Abgar xx) and Las Marismas (Coriander x Joost) and the national show jumper King Kadermie (Ladalco x Joost).
